In this fun, interactive, 5-day camp, the learners will practice reading and spelling CVCe words (ex. cake, huge). At the end of each class learners will "show what they know" by participating in a game.

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this fun, interactive, 5-day camp, the learners will practice reading and spelling CVCe words (ex. cake, huge). We will learn that "bossy E" makes the vowel shout its name, making the long vowel phonetic sound. Learners in this class should already know how to read CVC words (ex. cat, dad, hut). At the beginning of each class we will review the sounds of the long vowel sounds: A, E, I, O, U. Each day learners will focus on reading and spelling words with one of the long vowel sounds. On...
This 5 day camp will help learners grow as readers. After completing this class learners should be able to read CVCe words and use the long vowel sounds to help them spell CVCe words.
