Class Experience

Let's Read in French! 
This course is perfect for new French students who have no experience in the French alphabet and sounds and are ready to move on to reading words and sentences. This course is perfect for a child in Preschool, Kindergarten, or First Grade who is ready to begin reading. 
Students are introduced to new books with different themes selected. 

LESSON PLAN
1) Warmup activities :
--> Teacher will get the students to discuss warm-up questions
--> Teacher will introduce the...

By the end of the session students will be able to :
➤ Follow words from left to right, top to bottom and page to page.
➤ Name all the upper and lower case letters.
➤ Recognize rhyming words.
➤ Count, say, blend and break apart words that are spoken. 
➤ Identify the front cover, back cover and title of a book.
➤ Read sight words, e.g. the, of, you, are.
➤ Recognize and say the sounds of the letters.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Reading A-Z
Google Slides

1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
