This is a self-paced class where students will focus on basic math skills of subtraction. This class is best for students who want to practice and improve their subtraction skills. There will be a short video in each section with examples on how to solve problems, as well as a written examples, before students will work on their own problems, and then students will take a weekly test. Sense this is a self-paced class, it gives students the ability to work on subtraction problems at their own pace, until they feel confident in their addition skills. At the end of the class their will be a final test of all the material we practiced in class. I am a easy going, fun, and patient teacher, who wants to make learning enjoyable for each student. Students will not be interacting with me in class, however, students will be able to reach me with any questions or concerns via message, and I will do my best to respond within a 24-hour period under normal circumstances. I will also be giving each student feed back on their assignments weekly. Each weekly lesson should take 45-60 minutes to complete, depending on the student. I hope to see you in my classroom :)

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, my name is Miss Lawson!
I’m a fun and patient teacher who wants to help every student succeed while having fun learning new things in the classroom. I mainly teach ESL classes, but I also tutor basic math, I teach self-paced math classes, and self-paced creative writing classes.
I have an associates degree where my classes focused on Education and English, and I have some continued education form Mississippi State University. I have over 3 years experience with students in the online classroom, schools, and tutoring. I have 3 years experience working with ESL students in the elementary school setting and online classroom. In the classrooms, I helped support ESL students in reading, AR quizzes, and school work. As an online English teacher, I help ESL students from all around the world (ages 2-19), improve their English skills through conversation, vocab, games, grammar, reading, and comprehension. I am learning a second language myself, so I understand what it is like to learn a new language. I want to help each student succeed, achieve their goals, and have fun learning.
I love working with my students, but when I am not teaching, I like to go for walks in nature, listen to music, explore the night sky, learn French, and spend time with my cat.
Book a lesson with me, and I can help your child start improving their English in an environment that is relaxed and fun. Come join me in my classroom and let's have fun learning things together :)
