Scattergories is a fun word game where students come up with words starting with a certain letter that fit a certain category. For example, "color that begins with the letter R" (red) or "food that starts with P" (pasta) The class will start with introductions and a brief tutorial on the game and then we will jump in and play and share our answers. I will share my screen with the categories and letter so that students will not need to bring another device or visit anything outside of Outschool during our class. I will facilitate social interactions and conversation based on the game. If you haven't played Scattergories yet, this is a great time to learn! It is a fun way to sharpen thinking skills while having a blast with others! Just bring a pencil and paper and let's have some word fun with friends!
