Do you want to play the violin? Do you have an instrument that you are just itching to play! Do you want to learn the basics, so you can start to play the songs you like? In this eight-week course, beginners will learn the violin fundamentals to start playing the violin with confidence. They will learn how to hold the violin and bow, how to pluck the violin strings, how to play the violin with the bow, how to use their fingers to produce notes (fingerings), and how to play fun and easy to...
In this eight-week course, beginners will learn the violin fundamentals to start playing the violin strong and confidently. They will learn how to hold the violin and bow, how to pluck, how to play the violin with the bow, how to use their fingers to produce notes (fingerings), and how to play fun and easy songs, like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Hot Cross Buns, and more! We will also go over how the violin is tuned, how to take care of the violin, and some basic music theory - like note names and rhythms.
1 file available upon enrollment🎻An appropriate sized violin. If you are struggling to find an instrument, please let me know. 🎻A shoulder rest or sponge is recommended for comfort and ease of playing.
