Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will play bingo with numbers 1-100. Students should have experience identifying numbers, adding and subtracting up to 100. We will begin class with introductions and sharing one interesting fact about ourselves. If a student is not comfortable sharing we will pass on to the next student. After the introduction, it will be time for the bingo game! I will send two bingo cards to students prior to the class. Please print out ahead of time. I will call out numbers as well as state addition and subtraction problems to switch up the regular bingo routine. Students will use objects to mark spaces. The first student that gets five in a row wins! This will be a great opportunity for your child to practice identifying numbers and practice adding and subtracting to 100! Also, playing games helps build sportsmanship.

Hi! My name is Mrs. LaShana! I love teaching math classes. I also love teaching Preschool. I have worked with children for over 15 years. I worked as a daycare teacher for 6 years. I have an Associate's degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Fun fact: Mathematics was my my original major in college until Senior year. I am using all those skills to teach. I am a former homeschool mother of 3 children. I am always learning. I think it is a life-long journey. I think learning should be continuous and exciting! My hobbies are cooking, sewing, and crafting. Interesting fact: I once decorated a mirror filled with pennies!
