💙 I am more than happy to offer a 1:1 section. Please message me and we can configure a private section time that works for you and your child(ren). Hello, Minecraft gamers! Come join me in my Hide and Seek world. There are four levels: easy, medium, hard, and all levels mixed. Everyone will be in creative mode, but you're welcome to be in survival mode. Please read everything for a better experience for everyone. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭: There is no formatted curriculum we are following. ...
This class is for fun and socializing but can also help improve students' communication and Minecraft skills.
I've been playing Minecraft for over 7 years. I know many commands that will become useful in case of situations that happen.
The guardian, or learner, needs to give me the student's game tag before class.
Required: Share with me the student's game tag, so I have it for class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
*In needing to invite students to my world, I have to friend them first, then I can send the invite. That is not an issue. However, in order to keep their game tags private from the public, I have to unfriend them after the meeting is over. That's not a problem at all, rest assured. I just want to give you a heads up. - I need every student's game tag for Minecraft. - I give a discount for siblings, which would be applied weekly. - Students have 5 minutes to join the class. No one will be able to join after that time as it will disrupt the class. - At 5 minutes into class, all students will keep their microphones on, cameras off, zoom minimized, and play on Minecraft. Please be sure to go over the rules with your child(ren). 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 (𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞): - Each student gets 3 strikes. Once 3 streaks are hit, that student is kicked out of that meeting and withdrawn from the course without a refund. This is a must as I cannot reinforce behavior that upsets other students, or no one would have fun. Cheat (give away someone's spot) = 1 strike Go invisible using a potion - 1 strike Act inappropriate = 1 strike (depending on how inappropriate, more strikes may be applied) Students are ONLY allowed to have ARMOR or FOOD in their inventory. Nothing else. If caught using something else, that's a strike, their inventory will be CLEARED, and they will be put in the "time out" box. 𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞: There are four levels of the Hide and Seek game: easy, medium, hard, and all levels mixed. At the beginning of the game, we will all agree on which level to do. We can easily do all levels within one section too! Flying is allowed to help students get around faster as a hider and a seeker. The seeker will count to 20. Hiders are allowed to move around while hiding. Once a hider is found, they become a seeker and help find other hiders. There is a "time out" box where students will be put in if they break any of the rules. They will only be in the "time out" box for that current round, then are able to play once the round is over. That means they'll only be in there for about five minutes, then let out. Please keep in mind that if they are in the "time out" box, that means they broke one of the rules, which means they will receive a strike as well. If the student is enrolled in the class, but it turns out they can't play because of their device, I will give a full refund once the class is over.
