Let’s Paint Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflowers!
In this 1 hour course, students will engage with the teacher in a roundabout way to learn about art and art history, while creating their own masterpiece!

In this class, we will study Van Gogh’s famous sunflower painting while your child closely follows my drawing instructions! Art is FUN, so we’re not looking for perfection. This course will require washable paints and paintbrushes, a piece of paper, a pencil, and a printed copy of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers for a reference. Based on your child’s needs with regards to the paints, some supervision may be needed. As we draw and paint, I plug in some fun facts about Van Gogh and art techniques in general. This is a perfect course for a child who is expressing interest in art, but isn’t sure where to start. With gentle coaching and a lot of inspiration from me, they’ll be well on their way to being an artist!
Learning Goals
Students will leave the class with a deeper understanding of art history, classical arts, and color theory.
