Class outline : 1.I will greet the students and introduce the topic of the class "The planets in the solar system" . 2.To begin the painting, your child will need to fold pieces of paper in half and cut out half circles following a provided template. This will be demonstrated during the lesson. 3. I will then show how to paint the planets step-by-step and guide the students through the process. 4.Students will apply acrylic paint to black paper using sponges, small paint brushes, or Q-tips. The cut out paper template will act as a simple stencil. This is a great opportunity for your child to make some art and learn a little more about the solar system along the way! Note: • Parental supervision is required for this class, as students will be using scissors and paints. • Even students with low English levels can participate, as the instructions will be demonstrated visually. • I recommend setting up a work surface with newspaper or a tablecloth to protect your space. • Make sure you use acrylics or poster paint , NOT watercolor paints (they do not show on black paper ) I hope your child enjoys this fun and educational painting activity.
