What will be taught? -In this class, students will learn and/or review the names of American coins and paper bills. We will use those skills to do some pretend shopping. Each student will have a certain amount of virtual money and will be able to pretend shop. Students will get a chance to interact with each other throughout the class. What topics will you cover? - Students will practice money recognition and how to add and subtract money when paying for things. This information will be reinforced throughout the lesson using pictures, games, songs and worksheets.
