In this class, we will learn to make a beautiful origami butterfly and also a cute origami bird. We will practice measuring carefully and folding neatly. I will take you step by step through the process to make both of these adorable creatures. I will help you troubleshoot problems you might run into while you are making the figures. At the end, we will show off our beautiful creations. While we work, we'll talk about birds and butterflies and learn some fun facts about both of them, like...

Students will need a ruler, pencil, and scissors, as well as origami or other paper in different colors.
