Aloha! This class will Introduce your child to the exciting world of hula! This fun and engaging class is designed specifically for children aged 4-9 years old. Through music, and simple hula movements, your child will explore the basics of this beautiful Hawaiian dance.

Key Highlights:

Interactive Play and Dance: Our class combines the magic of storytelling with the beauty of hula dance. Your child will learn basic hula steps and hand motions through a fun classroom setting

Musical Journey: Children will dance to lively Hawaiian music, helping them develop a sense of rhythm and coordination. The songs are selected to be age-appropriate and engaging.

Cultural Exploration: Words and songs will introduce your child to Hawaiian culture and the significance of hula, fostering an appreciation for this traditional dance.

Creative Expression: Through movement and music, students will have the opportunity to express themselves creatively, building confidence and social skills.

Class Breakdown:

 * Aloha & Welcome (Introduction)

 * Introduction to a New Hawaiian Word and/or Meaning and/or culture

 * Learn the Basics of Hula (Foot work and Hand Motions)

 * Combine Basic Movements to Song

 * Aloha & Goodbye until we meet again!

Other Details

Parental Guidance
This is a low impact class, however students will be involved in physical activity. Please be sure your child has an open workout space free of items on floor or nearby. Proper footwear (bare foot or dance shoes preferred (ballet type), a water bottle to hydrate. Please do adequate stretching beforehand and after with your child. Please be sure an adult is overseeing your student to prevent injury during class.

Needed:
Comfortable clothing for movement.
Barefoot or flexible dance shoes.
Water bottles for hydration.
Optional: Hula skirts (pau skirts) and leis or flowers for all to enjoy!
