💬 What Parents Are Saying

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Excellent class! The teacher is VERY patient and supportive. My 14-year-old had little to no experience styling hair, and the teacher walked her through the techniques without ever getting frustrated. I’m already looking forward to enrolling her again!”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “My daughter said cornrowing was easier than she expected. She told me, ‘The instructor was nice and helpful and just reminded me to take my time.’”

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a licensed cosmetologist with over 17 years of experience in hairstyling and 10 years as a professional braider and salon owner. I specialize in natural styles including cornrows, box braids, twists, and protective styling. I’ve taught braiding and hair care to children and teens both in-person and online, working with hundreds of learners through my classes, homeschool groups, and community programs.

As a homeschooling mom of two and a graduate student pursuing a Master of Arts in K–6 Education, I combine professional beauty knowledge with effective, child-centered teaching strategies. My lessons are always hands-on, encouraging, and broken down into easy-to-follow steps. I love helping young learners build confidence while developing real-life skills they can use creatively.
