Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
In these short classes created especially for younger attention spans, your child will be introduced to the alphabet letters and sounds of each letter. This class meets for 20 minutes two times a week and covers letters Aa-Zz. Learners can bring the printable practice page posted in the classroom, or if preferred blank paper or a white board. After each meeting, students will also be able to download an optional letter of the day crown to make at home, as well as some additional fun...
We will learn: -- to sing the alphabet song -- alphabet letter identification and sounds -- to find objects that start with each letter -- how to write each uppercase and lower case letter -- how to draw a simple picture with easy shapes to match our letter of the day
Students can review the alphabet and the letters learned in a fun, playful way. Additional (optional) printable learning materials are provided after each lesson as well.
Please bring the printable letter page (either the drawing or alternate coloring version) posted in the classroom for each lesson- or- blank paper or a notebook, or even a white board. Students will need a pencil, crayons and/or markers.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
*Parents may assist quietly off camera. *Learners may keep their microphones on if they are in a quiet setting. If there is background noise, conversations or computer interference (like echoes), I will mute as needed. Learners can un-mute when called on to share, and may need a parent to assist with turning microphone back on.
