In this 30-minute class, students will learn how to count to ten and identify colors in Spanish.

Assessment will be done by asking students individually and as a group to repeat the numbers and colors being learned multiple times for practice. Then I will ask them to answer using their own knowledge. We will also have a round of activities where they will test their knowledge the same way.Class Experience
I will be teaching the students how to count to 10 in Spanish as well as basic colors using a sharing size or theater candy box size package of M&Ms and a Powerpoint presentation which will be shared from my screen. For the first 30 minutes students will be learn how to pronounce the numbers and colors found in the M&M package through repetition and speaking aloud. The last ten minutes will be spent by playing games. This will include guessing games, addition and subtraction in Spanish, and other vocal activities.
Learning Goals
The objectives for this class is for the students to leave the class knowing the basic pronunciation of numbers 1-10 in Spanish and how to differentiate color names in Spanish using M&Ms as an example.
