In this ongoing course, learners will explore the science of singing in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young singers, music lovers, and students interested in science or anatomy. The "Science of Singing" course will focus on vocal anatomy, vocal health, matching pitch, sound waves, the science of breath support, basic music notation, and vocal exercises to try at home. Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include vocal exercises, anatomy diagrams, Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, videos and much more. Learners will be encouraged to observe, participate, and share what they learn. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater to different learning styles and needs. Supply List
Learners will need to bring their own notebook, pens, pencils or other drawing materials to class each week. Activities sheets are uploaded by the end of Sunday (PST time) each week.
