Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 1
Do you love Science? In this Ongoing Class, learners will explore a range of Science subjects in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers.

Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include experiments, Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, songs, videos and much more.  Learners will be encouraged to observe, explore, question and share what they learn. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs. 

Please also note, there will be reading and writing tasks in some classes. This course is mapped to the National Curriculum in the UK and is planned for Key Stage 1 which is ages 5-7. The class will be interactive and supportive to cater to learners of different learning styles. We are a team of experienced teachers who are calm, patient and supportive whilst ensuring that the children are constantly learning. The environment will be dynamic and learners will actively participate throughout the class. As experienced teachers, we are capable of adapting our style to suit the learners.

Supply List
Learners will need paper, pen, pencil and crayons for each class. Some classes may require things to be cut out before the class and for learners to bring glue to class with them. Some classes involve a simple experiment. The required materials will be posted to the classroom. Please print out or download the relevant handouts in advance of each class.  These will be uploaded to the 'Classroom' by the end of Sunday each week.
