In this ongoing program, learners will develop their maths skills. 

This course contains a greater focus on the use of manipulatives in the classroom, pictorial and abstract representations to promote deeper learning, language support to help EAL students develop fluency in mathematical language.

Week of 8/4/24 - Introduction to Robotics and Mathematical Foundations - mathematical concepts essential for robotics, including geometry, algebra, and trigonometry
Week of 15/4/24 - Introduction to Robotics and Mathematical Foundations - Hands-on activity: Building a simple robot using kits and discussing the mathematical principles involved in its design and movement
Week of 22/4/24 - Coordinate Systems and Transformations - Cartesian and polar coordinate systems
Week of 29/4/24 - Coordinate Systems and Transformations - transformations such as translation, rotation, and scaling
Week of 6/5/24 - Coordinate Systems and Transformations - Robot movement simulation: Programming a virtual robot to navigate through different coordinate systems 
Week of 13/5/24 - Kinematics and Motion Planning - kinematic concepts, including velocity, acceleration, and trajectory planning

Week of 14/10/24 - Advanced Topics and Applications - robotics applications in various industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, and space exploration
