In this ongoing course, learners will develop their maths skills. 

This course contains a greater focus on the use of manipulatives in the classroom, pictorial and abstract representations to promote deeper learning, language support to help EAL students develop fluency in mathematical language.

Week of 1/4/24 - Arithmetic Problem-Solving - techniques, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Week of 8/4/24 - Arithmetic Problem-Solving - word problems involving basic arithmetic operations
Week of 15/4/24 - Arithmetic Problem-Solving - games: playing games that involve solving arithmetic problems
Week of 22/4/24 - Geometric Problem-Solving - techniques, including geometry puzzles and challenges
Week of 29/4/24 - Geometric Problem-Solving -  geometric concepts such as shapes, angles, and symmetry
Week of 6/5/24 - Geometric Problem-Solving - challenges: solving puzzles involving geometric shapes and constructions
Week of 13/5/24 - Logical Problem-Solving - logical problem-solving strategies, including deductive reasoning and logical thinking
Week of 20/5/24 - Logical Problem-Solving - logic puzzles, riddles, and brain teasers
Week of 27/5/24 - Logical Problem-Solving - competition: competing to solve logic puzzles in teams or individually
Week of 3/6/24 - Pattern Recognition and Sequences - patterns and sequences in mathematics and problem-solving
Week of 10/6/24 - Pattern Recognition and Sequences - different types of patterns, such as numerical, geometric, and visual patterns
Week of 17/6/24 - Pattern Recognition and Sequences - activities: identifying and extending patterns in sequences
Week of 24/6/24 - Algebraic Problem-Solving - techniques, including solving equations and inequalities
Week of 1/7/24 - Algebraic Problem-Solving - word problems involving algebraic expressions and equations
Week of 8/7/24 - Algebraic Problem-Solving - challenges: solving complex algebraic puzzles and equations
Week of 15/7/24 -  Probability and Statistics Problem-Solving - probability and statistics problem-solving techniques
Week of 22/7/24 - Probability and Statistics Problem-Solving - concepts such as probability, mean, median, mode, and standard deviation
Week of 29/7/24 - Probability and Statistics Problem-Solving - games: playing games that involve probability and statistical reasoning
Week of 5/8/24 -  Real-Life Problem-Solving - real-life scenarios and practical situations
Week of 12/8/24 - Real-Life Problem-Solving -  everyday contexts, such as shopping, budgeting, and time management
Week of 19/8/24 - Real-Life Problem-Solving - projects: tackling real-world challenges and finding solutions as a group
