We will be meeting once a week for 12 weeks in order to go through the various categories of Greek vocabulary. It is best if you have taken "Let's Learn Greek!" and "Let's Learn Greek - Part 2!" before taking this course. The material will be posted after each class and you can view it during the week at your convenience. Each week, for 12 weeks, students will be guided through a variety of vocabulary on slides created by me, role-play with the words they are learning, and sing Greek songs together. Students will learn basic vocabulary and practice putting these words into sentences. This class is to get students familiar with speaking Greek, listening to Greek, recognizing Greek words, and creating sentences in Greek! We will practice the vocabulary for things that are in their world so that they are able to relate to their learning while they practice! Students will also practice their vocabulary skills in the Outschool classroom completing introductions (in Greek), socializing, singing songs, completing our calendar, and doing a show-and-tell. We will continue to build on the foundations created in the first two parts of these courses and begin to understand and answer questions in Greek. Each week, along with the topic, we will be practicing a verb and use the verb in sentences for that week. For example, during the Week 2 - All About Summer, we will practice "I can..." sentences such as: "I can swim", "I can play at the beach", and "I can go on an airplane". Also, every week, we will be practicing "I like..." or "I don't like..." statements. Our goal is to have fun and keep adding to our Greek knowledge!
