In this Geography course, we learn about rivers. We will learn about the journey of a river from its source to the ocean, freshwater habitats, mangroves, estuaries and deltas, oxbow lakes, pollution, the Amazon and Nile.

Class Experience
Do you love learning about our world? In this Geography Flex Class, learners will learn about rivers in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers. Each week will include a range of activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. We are a team of qualified and experienced teachers with a wealth of experience across a range of ages and subjects. Most of our teachers are also TEFL/TESL qualified. You can find out more about each teacher in our profile. We are all passionate about teaching and learning and seeing our learners succeed. This course is taught by Teacher Helen. We look forward to meeting you in class soon.
Handouts will be provided via the classroom for each week. Ideally, these will need to be printed. Alternatively, they can be downloaded and viewed online. Across the 6 week course, a range of stationery will be needed included colouring pencils or pens, scissors, and glue. There will be STEM experiments which will use household objects.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
