Beginner Level
Learners will learn 15-20 words each class in this English Vocabulary Course. This class is perfect for learners who are beginning to read English and are wanting to broaden their vocabulary. ESL friendly. This class is aimed at beginner readers to broaden their vocabulary, improve recognition of words, develop phonics and handwriting too. What will we learn? Week beginning 16/09/24 - Verbs Week beginning 23/09/24 - My Senses Week beginning 30/09/24 - Shapes Week beginning 07/10/24 - Numbers Week beginning 14/10/24 - Times Week beginning 21/10/24 - In the Classroom Week beginning 28/10/24 - At School Week beginning 04/11/24 - Family Week beginning 11/11/24 - Friends Week beginning 18/11/24 - Clothes 1 Week beginning 25/11/24 - Clothes 2 Week beginning 2/12/24 - Describing People Week beginning 9/12/24 - Food and Drink Week beginning 16/12/24 - Days Week beginning 23/12/24 - Months Week beginning 30/12/24 - Daily Routine 1 Week beginning 6/1/25 - Daily Routine 2 Week beginning 13/1/25 - The House Week beginning 20/1/25 - Toys Week beginning 27/1/25 - Playtime Week beginning 3/2/25 - Colours Week beginning 10/2/25 - Parts of the Body Week beginning 17/2/25 - Taking Care of Myself Prior knowledge required: Learners should be able to identify the letters of the alphabet and write simple words with them. Learners should have some basic phonic knowledge and will be sounding out words as this will be useful for this course. We look forward to being part of your learning journey!
