In this ongoing Freetalk course, learners come to class with their own topic or interest that they would like to talk about. The teacher guides them to develop different aspects of language such as giving reasons, asking questions and more! A2-B1 Are you interested in cats? Dogs? Surfing? Reading? Playing football? Or something else? Come along and discuss what you love and make friends at the same time. Each week will have a different linguistic focus such as asking questions, dealing with hesitations and more. Week beginning 20/5/24: Asking 'What?' questions Week beginning 27/5/24: Asking 'When?' questions Week beginning 3/6/24: Asking 'Who?' questions Week beginning 10/6/24: Asking 'Where?' questions Week beginning 17/6/24: Asking 'Why?' questions Week beginning 24/6/24: Asking a range of questions Week beginning 1/7/24: Dealing with hesitations Week beginning 8/7/24: Dealing with difficult questions Week beginning 15/7/24: Dealing with difficult vocabulary Week beginning 22/7/24: Dealing with fast speakers Week beginning 29/7/24: Dealing with unknown topics Week beginning 5/8/24: Dealing with accents Week beginning 12/8/24: Developing your ideas Week beginning 19/8/24: Developing your vocabulary Week beginning 26/8/24: Developing your accent Week beginning 2/9/24: Developing your confidence Week beginning 9/9/24: Developing your grammar Week beginning 16/9/24: Developing your speed
