US Grade 4 - 7
Do you know what breed of horse has curly hair? What horse is nicknamed the "supermodel" of the equine world? This class highlights several of the lesser known breeds of horses, from ponies to drafts. We will learn about the history, unique physical characteristics, and other fascinating facts about uncommon equines. This class is taught using slides containing pictures and information. Discussion and participation, including the use of the annotate feature, is encouraged, but understandably not required. There will be small pop up quizzes along the way to facilitate thinking skills and conversation. Questions addressed and welcomed. The instructor has hands on experience with the breeds discussed, and also owns a rare horse which will be one of the breeds highlighted in this class.
