In this class, students will learn about hurricanes. Students will be presented with facts and information through a nonfiction passage read aloud followed by comprehension questions and a class discussion. We will then watch a couple of videos to reinforce learning and show examples. Finally, students will participate in a STEM challenge where they will be invited to create a structure that can withstand the disaster using only the listed materials.
