Class Experience

In this class we will open a demo lesson in Minecraft Education Edition. You will not need to pay for any license. Please install the application from https://education.minecraft.net/en-us/get-started/download as soon as possible. To install this you will need a PC with Windows 10+, or a Mac with MacOS 10.13+, or a Chromebook with Chrome OS 83+, or an iPad with iOS 10+. 

For the best experience I recommend a computer with a keyboard and 2 button mouse. If you will be using an iPad or a Mac,...

This class is taught in English.

Understand the importance and benefits of diversity, including the role of diversity and inclusion in a community
Understand bias and recognize how it may cause harm
Create coding solutions that include sequences, iteration, and loops
Decompose (break down) the steps needed to solve a problem into a precise sequence of instructions
Iterate on coding solutions to complete a task

You will need a PC with Windows 10+, or a Mac with MacOS 10.13+, or a Chromebook with Chrome OS 83+, or an iPad with iOS 10+. You will also need to install the free Minecraft Education Edition before class. No license is needed for this class. For the best experience I recommend a computer with a keyboard and 2 button mouse. If you will be using an iPad or a Mac, please tell me right away because it will effect the class.
