This short one time class will present an overview of bears. Students will learn about the different bear species as well as basic facts about their habitat, what they eat, physical characteristics, and more. Information will be taught using PowerPoint, short videos, and class discussion. Students are encouraged to ask and answer questions throughout the lesson to maintain student engagement. Students are welcome to draw or sketch as they learn but are not required to participate.

Hi, my name is Brandy Arnold. I have a degree in elementary education. I taught 3rd and 4th grade in the Texas public school system before I had my first child in 2010. Since then, I have been a stay at home mom.
In 2013, I began homeschooling preschool with my oldest daughter. We have been a homeschooling family since then and just started our 9th year.
I have also lead a small early education co-op, served as an elementary coordinator for a larger co-op, and taught many co-op classes. In addition to these in person classes, I have also taught over 100 classes on Outschool.
