Welcome to the "4th Grade Math Marvels" class! I'm an experienced educator with two decades of teaching under my belt, and I'm here to guide you on your journey to math mastery. This ongoing curriculum support class is designed to help you excel in math by focusing on key Common Core skills relevant to 4th-grade mathematics. Our sessions are held weekly, and you'll have the option to engage in additional assignments after class.

In this class, I draw upon my extensive 10+ years of experience in teaching 4th grade to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of mathematical procedures, concepts, and reasoning. Each week, we'll dive into a specific skill, such as place value, through interactive and engaging class activities. You'll have the opportunity to use an interactive application to annotate problem solutions, collaborate with your peers, and participate in enjoyable game quizzes. Throughout the curriculum, we'll also incorporate math games to keep your learning experience exciting and dynamic. The structure of the class is designed not only to help you understand math concepts but also to develop an appreciation for the problem-solving process itself. Regardless of your previous exposure to math, I'm confident that this class will ignite your enthusiasm for math's practical applications in real life.

Parental Guidance
This class uses SMART technology apps to deliver interactive lessons. This app allows to students to annotate and participate in class collaboration activities. There is no account required. Zearn is a online curriculum platform that supports students in mastering math objectives. If students opt in to participate, they will receive login instructions for their student account.
Supply List
Students will use an application called Lumio to annotate and participate in live class and homework assignments
Students will also use ZEARN, if they need additional support.
