¡Hola!
Welcome to, "Let's Get Talking! En EspaÑOl!” for Intermediate Level Learners (Level 4). This class is ideal for learners that have taken my, Spanish Immersion: “Let's Get Talking! En EspaÑOl!” Spanish Curriculum for Beginners (Level 1), my "Let's Get Talking! En EspaÑOl!” For Elementary Level Learners (Level 2) and my "Let's Get Talking! En EspaÑOl!” For Upper Elementary Level Learners (Level 3). If your learner has not taken my (Level 1, 2, or 3) class, but has been exposed to the Spanish language, has a WIDE Spanish vocabulary and can conjugate regular, irregular, and stem-changing verbs in present tense, then this class is also for your learner.

*If your learner does not have a wide Spanish vocabulary or has not been exposed to conjugating Spanish verbs, I offer a Beginners Class (Level 1), an Elementary Class (Level 2), and an Upper Elementary Class (Level 3). If you're interested, please reach out to me and I will be happy to assist you.

This is an ongoing class that will run from September 2024 - June 2025. It will cycle back to the beginning every fall. Learners are welcome to join any week that interest them or stay with us throughout the year to improve their Spanish speaking skills.

The Spanish Present Tense is the perfect place to start when learning Spanish. Not only is it the most widely used tense, but once you have the verb endings down, you will notice a pattern that repeats itself in nearly all the other tenses. Verbs in the present tense are, for the most part, predictable, so mastering them is totally attainable!

The present tense was the first tense you learned. What's next? The PAST TENSE!
Understanding the past tenses in Spanish is essential for anyone aiming to achieve fluency in the language. Spanish has several past tenses, each with its own specific use and nuance. In this class, we will explore the different past tenses in Spanish, I will provide detailed explanations and examples for each. We will revisit the verbs covered in (Level 2) and (Level 3) and conjugate them in the past tenses.
Class will begin with a short introduction followed by a vocabulary and a grammar lesson. We will end our week with a short conversation to allow learners to practice their conversational Spanish speaking skills by discussing what was covered in class during the week. I will be assessing comprehension throughout the class, therefore, all learners are encouraged to participate. I will be using a presentation, pictures, songs, objects, and role play, to help students internalize and communicate in Spanish.
