US Grade 3 - 6
Have you ever wanted to learn how to complete logic puzzles, but felt overwhelmed and not sure how to begin? If so, this class is for you. We'll break down how to read and decipher logic puzzle clues, draw conclusions, find patterns, and apply strategies that can help you become a logic puzzle master! In this session, we will learn strategies which will help you towards solving your puzzle, as well as guided practice to help you feel supported on your way to success. Plus, you'll leave with a few puzzles you can solve on your own. Logic puzzles use inferential thinking to read, organize and analyze information to solve an interesting problem. Not only are they a fun challenge to approach and solve, but the critical thinking skills used in solving logic puzzles can be applied in a variety of important tasks not only in school, but in life as well.
Learning Goals
In this session, we will learn strategies which will help you towards solving your puzzle, as well as guided practice to help you feel supported on your way to success. Plus, you'll leave with a few puzzles you can solve on your own.

I am a certified educator with 20 years teaching experience. I've taught both elementary and middle school, as well as been a gifted education teacher for half of my teaching career. Gifted education is a special passion of mine so many of my classes are tailored towards gifted and/or high-level learners, however I'm happy to work with any student who is interested in learning and growing. My ultimate goal is to create classes and activities which encourage students to step up their thinking with a little bit of challenge, all while having fun in a safe, nurturing, and caring environment.
