THANK YOU!*** During this 4-day camp, learners will learn each day about the planets in our solar system. During our time as well, we will also be creating and drawing our own solar system map. By the end of our time together, your learner will have their own map of the Solar System. Monday- We will be discussing space in general (atmosphere, no gravity, stars, etc.) The Sun and why we need the Sun to have a solar system, and the first planets Mercury and Venus. We will then draw and color The Sun, Mercury, and Venus towards the end of class, and if learners have any questions during this time, they can ask then. Tuesday- We will discuss about the Planets Earth, Mars, and Jupiter along with drawing and coloring those planets to add on to our maps, and sharing questions towards the end of this session. Wednesday- We will discuss about the Planets Saturn and Uranus, along with drawing and coloring Saturn and Uranus to add on to our maps, and sharing questions towards the end of this session. Thursday- On the last day, we will discuss the Planet Neptune, and briefly discuss about the Kuiper Belt (outside of our solar system) with Pluto, Eris, Ceres, Haumea, and Makemake. Learners will draw and color Neptune, and complete their solar system maps that they can share with their friends!

Supply List
Learners will need: - Crayons, markers, colored pencils, anything they want to use to make their maps look nice. -White Paper -Tape (to add their drawings together to create a big map)
