In this fun and easy ongoing class, students will learn about a specific animal from the animal kingdom each week followed by a fun directed drawing on the animal. Students will learn great fun facts about the animal of the week as well as finish up the class with their own drawing of the featured animal! This class is a wonderful and fun mix of both the animal kingdom and drawing world and is a great class for students who love both. Each week, students will learn about a new animal with a mini presentation at the beginning of class where they can also share their any information they know on the animal or can use this time to simply ask questions. The beginning allows students to have fun and engaging discussions about animals while learning new fun facts. We will learn the basics of the animal such as physical characteristics and their feeding habits , followed by some fun facts and then get into our fun directed drawing. Each week includes a new beautiful animal from the animal kingdom. These may include lions, elephants, alligators, butterflies, flamingos, parrots, zebras, giraffes, rhinos and many more! Each presentation will include engaging pictures and videos! Following our presentation, learners will then be able to put on their creative hats and follow along with a directed drawing of our animal of the week. If time permits students can then colour and share their photo in class. ***For the week of July 5th we will be discussing Raccoons !*** This class is a simple, fun and creative class which allows student to learn and have fun. This means absolutely no previous knowledge is needed. Just an open mind and a good old pencil. Because this is an ongoing class, remember students can subscribe/unsubscribe at any time.
