Camp Cowabunga meets once a week and each class has a fun activity that is camping themed! Your learner will build friendships and have a lot of fun, all while learning along the way. Class will always begin with the teacher guiding a short free talk between the learners and myself, giving them the opportunity to build friendships! Each week may look a little different, with activities ranging from reading stories, doing art projects, going on scavenger hunts, singing camp songs, playing games, learning camping rituals, and so much more! Camp Themes: Week of June 6th - Build a Campsite Week of June 13th - Lanterns and Lightning Bugs Week of June 20th - Campfires and Camp Songs Week of June 27th - Tents and RVs Week of July 4th - Smores and Camp Foods Week of July 11th - Nature and Scavenger Hunt More weeks will be added with interest! Weekly themes may be customized and changed, based on the learners and their interests. We may be enjoying a theme so much that we do it for two weeks, or we may add a new one somewhere in the mix. Schedule will be updated if this occurs. I enjoy laughter and fun as we learn in my classes! I give the students many opportunities to talk throughout the class and I make my lessons very interactive. Virtual summer camps are a fun way for your child to get the experience of camp, even if they can't go in person!
