In this 7 week self-paced class, students will explore the animals of the 7 continents, complete quizzes, and create crafts!

 Week 1
Lesson 1
Animals of Europe
Students will briefly review the continent of Europe. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 9 different European animals. They will play a quiz game and create a wolf craft.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Animals of Asia
Students will briefly review the continent of Asia. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 9 different Asian animals. They will play a quiz game and create an elephant craft.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Animals of Oceania
Students will briefly review the continent of Oceania. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 9 different animals from Oceania. They will play a quiz game and create an kangaroo craft.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Animals of Antarctica
Students will briefly review the continent of Antarctica. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 6 different animals from Antarctica. They will play a quiz game and create a penguin craft.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Animals of Africa
Students will briefly review the continent of Africa. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 9 different African animals. They will play a quiz game and create an African sunset craft.
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Animals of South America
Students will briefly review the continent of South America. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 9 different South American animals. They will play a quiz game and create a toucan craft.
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Animals of North America
Students will briefly review the continent of North America. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 9 different North American animals. They will play a quiz game and create a beaver craft.
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn about 6-10 different animals from each continent, complete quizzes, and create crafts.
I am a certified elementary school teacher. I taught science for 5 years. I have been teaching zoology on Outschool for almost 2 years. 
Homework Offered
The weekly videos will take about 15-20 minutes/week, the quiz is included in this time. The craft should take another 15 minutes. Students can participate in the group discussions as often as they would like.
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed based on their participation.

Buttons, gems, pompoms, felt, or glitter

Lesson 2 Elephant Craft:
Paper plate or white paper

Paint/markers/crayons/colored pencils
Tape

Lesson 3 Kangaroo Craft:
Brown paper
Pencil
Scissors
Glue
Markers/crayons/colored pencils
Optional: googly eyes

Lesson 4 Penguin Craft:
Black paper
Orange paper
Cotton balls or toilet paper
Pencil
Scissors
Glue
Optional: googly eyes

Lesson 5 Savannah Scene Craft: 
White paper
Pencil and eraser
Markers/crayons/colored pencils

Lesson 6 Toucan Craft:
Paper plate or white paper
Scissors
Paint

Optional: googly eye

Lesson 7 Beaver Craft:
A brown paper bag or brown paper can be used

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Some students may need help completing the crafts, as scissors will be used.
