In this 7 unit self-paced class, we will be exploring the animals of the 7 continents. Each unit consists of one or two short videos; which contain a brief description of the continent of the week, followed by information on 6-10 different animals from that continent. The information will include the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of each animal, as well as vibrant pictures. Week 1Lesson 1Animals of EuropeStudents will briefly review the continent of Europe. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 9 different European animals. They will play a quiz game and create a wolf craft.Week 2Lesson 2Animals of AsiaStudents will briefly review the continent of Asia. They will then learn about the physical characteristics, diet, and habitat of 9 different Asian animals. They will play a quiz game and create an elephant craft.Week 3Lesson 3Animals of OceaniaStudents will briefly review the continent of Oceania. Homework Offered
The weekly videos will take about 15-20 minutes/week, the quiz is included in this time. The craft should take another 15 minutes. Students can participate in the group discussions as often as they would like.Assessments Offered
