I will briefly introduce students the differences between cartoon/kawaii style art and realistic art. . After this introduction we will have a discussion and share what our favorite underwater animal is and why. If several students share the same creature that creature will be the drawing subject of the class, if not a creature will be selected from a wheel. Students will then be taught how to draw an underwater creature from a list of selected creatures such as: crabs, octopuses, dolphins,...
Students will be able to produce a drawing of an underwater creature.
Students will need paper to draw on, a pencil with a good eraser, and coloring equipment preferably markers or color pencils but crayons can work if you don't have the others.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
