Volcano Voyage: A Colorful Eruption in Art! 🌋 Overview: This is a 40-minute drawing and painting lesson where young learners will create their own volcanic masterpiece using watercolors and crayons. 🏞️ Sketching the Landscape: Step by step guidance is given throughout the lesson. 🖍️ Crayon Foundation: Use crayons or oil pastels to lay the groundwork for the wax-resist technique, ensuring unique textures and effects. 🎨 Watercolor Magic: Learners will explore watercolor techniques: wet-on-dry, wet-wash, & wax-resist. Experiment with warm hues, emphasizing the fiery reds, oranges, and yellows. Experience the thrill as "lava" flows, guided by gravity. Keep a paper towel handy for the adventure! 🗣️ Show and Tell: Share your beautiful volcanic creation with the class. Join us and let's paint an erupting volcano together!
