In this 40-minute class, young artists will master drawing a dump truck! Students will follow step-by-step instructions while having the freedom to infuse original ideas. All they'll need is paper, a pencil, and an eraser; optional tools include color pencils, markers, or crayons. This small group class ensures individual attention and won't cancel due to low enrollment. We'll start with a teacher-led review of lines and shapes, using these fundamentals to draw the truck's tires, body, and scene. Then, it's time for details! Students are encouraged to unleash their creativity, adding their own cool ideas throughout the lesson. Throughout the class, students can freely ask questions, allowing for continuous creativity and originality. This interactive session fosters a relaxed environment where students can proudly share their amazing artworks with their peers. We'll cover art vocabulary, focusing on various types of lines and shapes, as well as spatial concepts like overlapping and foreground, middle ground, background."
