I am excited to get together to teach you about the basic history of the ancient Egyptian world. In this introduction class you will explore the geography of Egypt, discover the class systems of Egypt, and what the purpose of a pyramid is. Students will be allowed to answer questions vocally or in the chat throughout the class so whether your student is excited about Egypt or a bit hesitant it will be easy for me to get an understanding of what they know and understand. Throughout class I will show short clips to help give an example a concept. At the end of the class the student will reflect on 3 things they learned, 2 things they formed an opinion on and 1 question they have. We will hold a discussion to give the student an opportunity to interact and engage with each other. I find value in discussion of the topic and look to enhance the learners perspective. It important that the students are able engage with the information and are able to do that where they feel comfortable during so. There is no prior knowledge needed to complete this course.
