Class experience
In this class, we will work together to learn the steps needed to create each portion of our adorable miniature figures. Different camera views will be used to show each step of the way. As a class, we will condition, cut, roll and form our pieces. Then we will assemble our body parts and get them prepared to be baked after class is over. This class is taught in English.
Note that the teacher will be using Polymer Clay, but Students may use whichever sculpting medium they are comfortable with. Supplies: Sculpting Medium (any brand/type you prefer. I like to use Sculpey III Polymer Clay, which is what I used in the sample image). Basic Sculpting tools, toothpick, smoothing tool, dotting tool or end of small paintbrush (for eye sockets) A cutting tool (clay knife, or anything that you are comfortable with using) A non stick surface to work on Black glass beads (6.0 size or 4mm works well) or black clay for eyes. Minimum of 2 clay colors Optional: Miniature heart shaped cookie/dough cutter **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). You will bake after class. Parental help is necessary.
