55 mins in-class hoursHomework
1 hour per week. Please prepare the outline before the start of class. You can do this by printing the outline and holding it up to a sunny window to trace on to your watercolor paper.Class Experience
In this class, students will first be gently guided in painting their fall wreath outline. Techniques may include testing pigments, wet on dry, wet on wet, painting a wash, ombré, and lifting. The teacher will model these techniques, and the students will get the opportunity to try the technique and explore. With each technique, there are many ways to then alter something small and get a completely different effect in our art. Towards the end of class, as students are still working, the teacher will read some fall poetry collections.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome! I've taught in a traditional classroom, in a creative arts school setting, online, and as a home school Mom as needed with our own unique learners. I believe that arts, music, and books add so much to our days, and want to provide classes that support these areas with your learners too! I love learning new arts, and have even learned to paint and play the piano, recently, as an adult. I have been crocheting and sewing for about 30 years, and hope to share my knowledge with other lifelong learners who want to be brave and try new things! I believe enjoying the process is just as important, if not more, than the end product. I model imperfection and share my thought process in how to improve our experiences. I hope to see you soon!
