In this one time class, students will learn watercolor techniques to paint their own fall wreath, as well as enjoy fall poetry.
Class experience
In this class, students will first be gently guided in painting their fall wreath outline. Techniques may include testing pigments, wet on dry, wet on wet, painting a wash, ombré, and lifting. The teacher will model these techniques, and the students will get the opportunity to try the technique and explore. Homework Offered
Please prepare the outline before the start of class. You can do this by printing the outline and holding it up to a sunny window to trace on to your watercolor paper.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

1 file available upon enrollmentFall wreath outline traced on to watercolor paper (or feel free to draw your own!) watercolor paint (either pans or tubes are great!) a palette or plastic tray for mixing 2 sheets of 8.5" x 11" watercolor paper, or mixed media paper that allows for wet and dry mediums (1 will be for the project, 1 will be for practicing strokes at the start of class). watercolor brushes (rounds and flats are great to start with) or whatever brushes you have on hand work too! 2 cups of water for cleaning brushes paper towel pencil eraser
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
