Overwatch 2 is a team-based shooter game featuring two teams of five, chosen from a diverse selection of heroes, each with unique powers, all fighting to secure objectives in fast paced, intricate battles for supremacy over territories. Teams are broken down into three specialties; Tank heroes (damage sponges that also blast through the front lines to break teams apart), Damage/DPS heroes (high damage output to put lots of pressure on the other team), and Support heroes (healing, damage boosting, and more!). Teams must work together to win each map. Will you and your squad listen to Baptiste and "light them up"? Or will you follow the words of Reaper, and "die, die, die"?

In this ongoing Let's Play club, we will meet once per week and work on strategy, technique, communication skills, and most importantly, having fun. No experience is necessary, and players of all levels of experience are welcome. We will play the game together in private matches, while keeping chat and video to the Zoom call. If learners can't make it, we can substitute some A.I. bots to take their place.

There won't be a weekly session schedule regarding topic, as this game and class will be altered each week (and even mid-class) by the learners. However, each week we will touch on tips and tricks related to each chosen Hero.

A copy of Overwatch 2 will need to be purchased and installed on each learner's PC or console in order to play, as there is now cross-platform capability. Please do this ahead of time so as to avoid learners needing to wait while others play, thanks!
