Class Experience
This is a 4 week flex class, that means this course does not include live meetings. Your learners will follow along and bake 4 amazing masterpieces of desserts that they could share with family and friends. I will post the ingredients and recipe via a google doc, I’ve created. I’ll post Sunday evening/night, for each weeks recipe. I will also post the video with the steps of each recipe lesson, so your learner could follow along at their pace. I enjoy sharing my love of baking and decorating with children of all ages.
Each week your learner will get their supplies and bake their assigned dessert. They will take pictures or record a video, to share and respond to their peers.
Supplies needed I will post ingredient and recipe each week on Sunday evening/night. Supplies/ ingredients needed for the 4 weeks One bag of your favorite cookie example, Golden Oreos, chocolate Oreos, Nutter Butter, Vanilla Wafers, or Biscoff...skies the limit 2 Boxes of Cake Mix your choice of flavors ingredients listed on your cake box mix Corn syrup 4 bags Chocolate melts 2-3 bags White chocolate melts Powdered sugar Ice cream cones Sprinkles Cream Cheese Candy Food coloring must say oil base (Optional) Non-stick cooking spray Piping Bag / Ziploc Bag Plastic wrap Spoons Forks Toothpicks 9x13 baking pan or jelly roll baking pan Cupcake/ Muffin Tin Medium bowl (microwave safe) Baking sheets Wax paper or parchment paper Cup/glass no handle Small bowls
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Younger learners may need help turning on microwave oven and removing hot bowl from their microwave oven. Learners will be using oven they may need help remove pan from hot oven. If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact me and I’ll suggest something in place of it.
