Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I'm Jaclyn and I love baking, theater, playing my flute, dancing, doing art projects and more! I live with my husband, 2 dogs, cat and turtle in Palm Beach County, Florida. We love going to the beach, walking the dogs, grilling, riding our bicycles and of course, baking together!

I have many passions in life, such as making delicious food and sharing it with the special people in my life, playing the flute for people, doing art projects and giving them as gifts or using them as decorations for myself and dancing! When you put your heart into making a dish, hand crafted present or performing a perfect song and nailing every note, and people love it, you can't help but feel amazing about yourself! Sharing your food, art and music are ways to show your love, skills, and artistic abilities! My late father taught me to always follow my passion and do what I love; so that's what I do!

I owned a cottage food bakery business where I sold my baked goods at green markets in Florida, so of course we'll be making some scrumptious baked goods! I earned academic scholarships to Fairleigh Dickinson University, studying Hospitality, which included a study abroad in Italy where I learned all about preparing exquisite food. Cooking classes were part of our curriculum and it took my love of food to a whole new level!

I was a Professional Organizer for 8-years, running a company called Tip Top Organizing. I worked with kids as young as 4-years old, and adults, to get them organized in their homes. I've always loved being organized and helping kids and adults feel in control of their space. After doing that for 8-years, I made the switch to virtual teaching.

I love teaching kids how to prepare food for themselves and others in a fun and exciting way. It helps them develop confidence in the kitchen. I have my TESOL and I've been an online English teacher with VIPKid since 2017 where I teach students in China during the early morning hours. I grew up doing theater, art projects, cooking, playing the flute, being an honor student, competition cheerleader and cheerleading captain. I'm enthusiastic, motivational, happy, energetic and fun! I can't wait to see you in the classroom!

*****I am available to teach virtual baking birthday parties! Send me a message and we'll set up the day, time and which class you'd like! You'll have a private link that only you and the attendees will see for your own event page! ****
