30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time mathematics class, you will learn what these pesky math symbols (<, >, and = ) mean and how to use them to write an equation as a number sentence. You will learn what 'greater than' means, what 'less than' means, what values are and how they relate to the equals (=) symbol. You will practice what you have learned, and I will go over the answers with you to make sure you understand. You will also learn how to compare, describe and show number relationships using appropriate vocabulary. By the end of the class, you will have written your first equations!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to compare, describe and show number relationships using appropriate vocabulary and symbols.
