We will be reading the Book The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies. There will be interactive Nearpods and Flip Grids at the end of 1-2 chapters. This is the first in a 3 series book. In the book Jessie will be skipping a grade and her brother Evan finds out that the next school year his little sister will be in the same class as he is. This causes him to want nothing to do with her so she tries to prove she is ready for fourth grade by competing with him to see who can have the most successful lemonade stand. This is a great story that also has a lesson of acceptance and patience. Throughout this book we will look at the sequence of events to predict upcoming chapters as well as looking at what lessons we can take away from the events.
