Each week, students will interact with a cartoon, story, or game and complete a Lego STEM challenge. This is a great combination of literacy, Legos, and STEM.

Welcome to Holiday Theme Lego Challenge Club! Each week will explore a different holiday theme. Students will come together and read a story, or watch a cartoon made by the teacher. Students will use the Engineering Design Process to complete a Lego Challenge that relates to the theme. We will incorporate different science, literature, social study, or architecture topics into our challenges. At the end of class, students will practice communication skills as their share their lego creations. Students will need to have their lego collection with them for class. Week of November 28: Gingerbread House December 5: Santa's Sleigh December 12: 12 Days of Christmas December 19: Ornament for a Tree

Legos. Whatever the student has, basic lego bricks.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
