Students will participate in the shared reading of a book, use inspiration from the book to build creatively, and talk about their builds. Students can attend this class many times for fun with a different book each time!

US Grade Kindergarten - 2
In this one time class, students will participate in a shared reading of a book, work on creative builds inspired by the book or theme, and share their creations. During the shared reading, students will be encouraged to engage in comprehension discussion, practice inflection and fluency after I read certain sections. Students should bring loose Lego and Lego mini-figures if they have them to class as we will spend time creating theme based builds after we enjoy our book.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
