In this ongoing poetry writing club, we will study different simple forms of poetry and write poetry together in class. I make sure that all learners in the class are able to participate and contribute. I type the poems as we write them together, and I will send a copy of the final poems to each student. My input is positive and uplifting. And I insist on positive and uplifting input from all learners. My hope is that learners love writing poetry and enjoy the work of writing as much as they enjoy the final product. And my goal for every class is that learners leave the class with a smile, new (or reminded) knowledge, and a desire to learn more.
