Learning to play piano from a Lead Sheet
In this 6 week course students will learn to play favorite songs using chords to accompany the melody.

Intermediate Level
The class will have an explanation of the material for the lesson day. Each student will have the short time of one on one time with the teacher. The students can play for each other if the wish. My teaching style is friendly and helpful. I try to fully explain each new concept. The content of the class is learning to spell chords. Then apply the chords to a melody in the right hand. Also, improvising the chords in the left hand to play different bass patterns will be taught.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to play chords in the left hand to accompany melodies in the right hand. Chords taught : Major, Minor, Seventh, Diminished and Augmented

Adding harmony to a melody, left hand octave patterns
