Class Experience

In this course we will learn how to draw and color Aang and other characters from Avatar the Last Airbender. Students will learn the fundamentals of figure drawing and how to apply those techniques to drawing cartoon characters. We will also discuss our favorite scenes, episodes, characters and all the things we love about the show. Each week we will focus on a specific character from the show. These classes do not build on one another. Students are free to join in on whatever classes they like without missing a beat.

Week of October 2: Aang

Week of October 9: Katara

Week of October 16: Sokka

Week of October 23: Toph

Week of October 30: Zuko

Week of November 6: Appa and Momo

Week of November 13: Azula

Week of November 20: (NO CLASS - Thanksgiving Break)

Week of November 27: Uncle Iroh

Week of December 4: Suki

Week of December 11: King Bumi

Week of December 11: Jet

-Paper for drawing and sketching
-A sharpened pencil with an eraser
-Markers, crayons or colored pencils
